WORKSHOP CLEAN ENERGY TRANSITION PARTNERSHIP
15th of December 2020, the Belgian Energy Research Alliance organized a workshop with the research partners, funding agencies and political representatives to assess the priorities for the Belgian research partners for the Clean Energy Transition Partnership. The CETP is a co-fund instrument between the European Commission and the national/regional funding agencies. The content of the Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda was presented, which is the strategic guidance document for future funding calls. BERA was via EERA involved in the writing process. The session is concluded with an overview of a few selected topics of the Belgian energy research partners.
Overall, Belgium has a leading role in many of the topics addressed via the Clean Energy Transition Partnership and this is considered to be a highly relevant funding source for future Belgian energy research.
